The following pages contain composite ratings over the ten-year period from 2000 through 2009. These include
individual team ratings, as well as comparisons of all the football conferences in Illinois.
Some schools closed their doors or dropped football during the course of the decade. If they weren't playing at
the end of the 2008 season, they can be found in a separate rating at the bottom of the "all-school" list.
It should be noted that all schools and conferences start with a rating of 500, and 500 is therefore the average
rating for any school or conference.
Because it's impossible to gauge the competitiveness of out-of-state schools, we do not count
games against out-of-state opponents in these ratings. Schools that played out-of-state games may
therefore be missing those games from their won-lost records.
